Child-proof caps: sometimes, it takes a child to open them.

I remember, one time years ago, I was trying to open a bottle of some chemicals. I had not known it had a security cap. I twisted and struggled but could not budge it. Being a guy with a quantity of tools, I grabbed a pair of channel-locks and clamped down on the cap, but the bottle itself turned in my hands. I got out my web-wrench which definitely held the bottle, clamped on the cap again with the channel-locks, and proceeded to rip the cap from the bottle, totally shearing the cap, part of the top of the bottle and the... plastic security shield to shreds. I got the product out then inspected the cap. Yep, it had a tab for easy removal. I'd gotten the cap off my way, by ghod, being a guy with a quantity of tools and too little power of observation. I was at a loss, however, as to how to put it all back on...
