In English, usually translated as "Kill them all, God will know his own," or - popular in the U.S. military: "Kill them all, let God sort them out."

Otherwise, I agree. The 9/11 attacks were terrible, but we need to keep them in perspective. We have been causing/taking far more casualties annually in the 'War on Drugs' for at least three decades, and likewise U.S. forces have killed more than this number of non-combatants annually in the 'War on Terror'. It would do Americans good to remember that non-Americans also have fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters; that non-Americans also want to keep their families safe in their own homes; that non-Americans also suffer when those they love are hurt or killed; that non-Americans also seek justice; and that 9/11 was vengeance for the injustices perpetrated by the U.S. government.
