I happened to find this in the article:
Navalta et al. (2006) found that the self-reported math Scholastic Aptitude Test scores of their sample of women with a history of repeated child sexual abuse were significantly lower than the self-reported math SAT scores of their non-abused sample. Because the abused subjects verbal SAT scores were high, they hypothesized that the low math SAT scores could "stem from a defect in hemispheric integration."
Considering that an ability to do math is associated with an ability to think rationally, perhaps the difference in math scores simply indicates that rational women don't count insignificant events as sexual abuse or attempt to use such insignificant events as an excuse for their failures later in life.
It's quite a biased article, parroting the extravagant claims of a fraudulent field - and that deserves notice.
