I love girls and boys.

I abhor any harm that comes to young people.

I would never personally harm any child and would, if it came to this, give my life in defense of those I love.

But I am also a realist. I have seen the best of mankind, and I have seen the very worst. I know that sometimes in a very difficult, evil world people get hurt and are killed in wars, even those we love. It is just a matter of reality.

I wish it were not so.
