I think you're prolly right, Lateralus. But you're also right about it not being the greatest song - musically. I'd say that's an understandment too. This song, for me anyway, is incredibly painful to my musical ears. It reminds me of Freddy Mercury or maybe even of songs from that ridiculous horrible scary depressing movie he was in - "Rocky Horror Picture Show".

Anyways.....

I think if the song was made well, then it would have gotten more attention than the band would have wanted it to. So it was prolly a planned thing to make it as poorly as it is. That's my guess, anyway.
