However, no, education is not a right. Freedom of conscience is a right, and education is a means to that right. In some respects the difference is small and in others it is big. That said, Israeli education is quite good.

If you move to a community with certain rules, you cannot later on piss on their rules. You are acting like the typical Anglo-Saxon who signs petitions because they are upset there are streets in town where all the signs are in Spanish or Chinese. Same here. It's their community, they have the right to their rules. If you want an exception, all right, negotiate your exception with your neighbors - but calling the police is a violation of their right to a community. And with a community that has been historically prosecuted everywhere, and in the state created with the single purpose to defend and safe haven them, pissing on them is all the more bitter.[EDIT, Sancho]

And yes, I don't approve their rules. But I will not let my disapproval of their rules (or for other reasons, of the State of Israel) become a disapproval of their right to live by their rules.
