I'm not. That you fail to see why is not my problem. But you always do this. When your argument is shoddy and you know it, you turn it into something it's not. This is why I don't debate you anymore. You're a snake in terms of debating. When your argument is bs, you just contort it or get bogged down by endless distractions from the other person's actual argument with trivial nonsense or straw men.

Nope, it's this: We all have rights by virtue of our more-or-less mutual agreement that we should. If you're not able to agree (for whatever reason) to uphold the rights we recognize or you simply refuse to, then you forfeit your own. Animals lower than humans on the intelligence spectrum cannot agree to that; ergo, their rights are essentially forfeit. We can extend them rights if we like anyway, and in many cases I advocate that. But one should not make the mistake of assuming they deserve such rights simply because they exist. No one does, but other humans can at least agree to recognize the rights of others if others will recognize their rights. Capiche?
