I think this is the problem: It is the community for the non-Orthodox. Due to a high birth rate, the Orthodox now make up half the people in the city, but they are acting as if the city is their exclusive property. Under local laws, this girl (and her classmates) have the right to go to their school unmolested, and those abusing these girls are the aggressors. If they want to go start their own gated community with their own rules, I'm all for it (I wouldn't want these bozos around me anyway) - but so long as they are living in a mixed city they should respect the rights of others, or they should gtfo.

It might also be a good idea if they would decide not to be such idiots. It's clearly their right to be just as backwards as they want to be, but that doesn't make it a good idea. At least they have struck a blow against Jewish stereotypes: see, Jews can be stupid too.
