"It's their community, they have the right to their rules". Really? Did they build their community in the desert out of whole cloth, or did those Ultra-Orthodox Jews sit on their backsides hiding behind their pious claims
of non-violence while non-Orthodox Jews fought and bled and died to create the state of which the Ultra-Orthodox are now a small part?

The "community" is the State of Israel, which was founded to protect Jews from religious persecution. Are you saying that Jews founded a state to protect themselves from persecution by non-Jews but must now allow persecution by other Jews who are demonstrably not playing with a full deck?
