Two worthless stories
Posted by griffith on 2011-December-30 21:53:20 EST, FridayOf course only a madman could believe that these two stories have any value. And only a madman could believe that they have a theme, in other words an allegorical contents. And what the hell is the theme, the allegorical plot anyway? Who needs it? If _I_ don't understand it, if I cannot even understand clearly what the concept of a theme, an allegory means, it must be something unnecessary. Who needs any allegories if you can write 7th class childish sci-fi stories or maudlin love poems, or maybe some essays?
Besides the writer was not an American; a further proof that he could not be anybody. Egon Friedell might disagree and say he was one of the greatest satirists in the world who said more in one short fairytale than some others said in a thick novel. But don't believe Egon Friedell.
