No et moi

Saw this excellent French movie today, 13 yo Lou (Nina Rodriguez) starts interviewing a young homeless woman, No (Julie-Marie Parmentier) with the purpose of gathering material to write an essay for school.

They become friends and finally No is invited to live with the family of Lou.

No happy ending, No has severe issues with alcohol and drugs and she ends up on the street again, despite all the efforts taken by the family that adopted her to get her clean.

The characters are played so convincingly that the movie almost looks like a documentary.
Of course the beauty of miss Rodriguez is one more reason to watch this movie.
