My 2011 GM Best!

Since I often use the bus systems out here (I will not where herein GC), there are the PGMs that are remembered; a lot just very brief encounters. Two are most remembered. One has been stated herein GC already. This is the other PGM.

I took my seat perhaps half way down the bus seating aisle. It was an assigned seat number so I no choice but to take it as other passengers along the route had seats already booked. After getting settled in, I, of course, look around me to catch if there is a potentially ‘screaming baby’ in front, to my back..or across from me. When I was satisfied that there were no ‘babies’ in front or behind me, I looked over across from me. Opps! There sitting together were two young Asian girls – one was a younger version of her older sister. Both were absolutely beautiful! I surmised the older to be about 6 or 7 years old. “The eyes have it” once again and the older girl’s dark eyes locked onto mine. I looked away as I assessed her mother was the lady behind me with another daughter in tow.

I kept to myself and even tried to snooze a bit as the bus was underway to the next town. I happened to take a glance over to the two girls. The younger was sacked out on both seats while the older sister was wide awake and trying to maintain her seating on the edge. I had no one sitting with my two seat row and almost made a gesture for her to come over and take a full seat. But, of course, with mom behind me, I put the thought away. But before I looked away, the girl glanced over to me and then she even looked at the vacant seat. But she remained on the edge of what seat she could have while her younger sister slept. My return glance got me nailed as she was looking straight at me now. That’s it. No more glances by me!

My restraint from ‘looking’ may have affected the girl and she moved over to where her mom was seated and got behind me. I now had no idea of what was going on and felt almost a feeling of relief that she was now out of my picture and ‘glancing capability.’ I was wrong. The girl was talking now to her mom in her own language while she was standing right behind me. She knew what she was doing as she grabbed the seat top part to steady herself as the bus swayed and swerved down the hills. Her hand ‘conveniently’ touched to top of my head and hair more than three times. (yep! I counted!). The bus continued on while the girl chatted with her mom. The topping of the cake was when after I heard her at the window no more than a few inches away from my ear…she actually gave a “kiss” sound! I did not react but sucked it all in.

As we came to the bus terminal, she went back over to her younger sister and woke her up. I looked over and she was again looking back at me. Her look was to me that she knew exactly what she was doing.

The bus stopped and I gathered up my things to depart…and to call it another day of travel. I was stopped with the same girl standing in front of me..looking now up to me with her beautiful eyes that had perhaps had a ‘question.’ I looked at her and stepped around her. I glanced back to her mom. I expected the typical scornful look. Nope. Mom was smiling at me. Wow! Cold shower at the hotel for me!
