like the dog's look/stance/posture was that of curiosity as to why the person he's keeping a close eye on, who is or was standing across the room, has sent is lg friend to the corner hurting her feelings, and also being semi-offended by it and semi on-guard against any further actions the person may take.
In other words; He's being protective of the lg. I love the pic, Gim.
