Do they really?

Yeah but I think more and more people are beginning to realize that the school-system is flawed but can't really do anything about it. I mean what is the single-parent with 3 kids going to do? They can't take them out and home-school them, don't have enough money to put them into some sort of private school. Even two-parent families probably don't have the money to do anything. Not to mention if they do home-school them people automatically assume it's becase of religious reasons or question what you're doing "oh the kid won't be socialized". What are they supposed to do?

I haven't yet met someone who's gone, "oh schools aren't they wonderful!". People don't always bash them but I don't exactly hear good things about them either. Maybe it's just the people I talk to, I don't know.

It's funny how people aren't really concious when they have kids, I mean I've met people who have 3 kids and still swear, and play violent videogames infront of them and get drunk, and it's like don't you realize your child is watching you? They see everything you do, do you want them to be like this? I guess maybe they grew up like that and think it's alright, I myself would try to hold myself to a higher standard.
