LGL is correct. Often those beauty pageant photos are altered to such a point they add different colored eyes, or borrow smiles or noses from other girls, almost like a Mrs. potato head toy.

I prefer a more natural look of course, but I don't see anything wrong with it either, it's wholesome enough. In my eyes it is just parents taking an active participation in their child's life, trying to nurture creativity and self-esteem. I think most of us will agree there are many better ways to achieve the same end, but at least they're trying. rather than doing nothing and being totally neglectful of their children, which happens more often than not, there are too many bigger problems in the world then painting girls like dolls. IMO.

From what I've gathered in my experience most GLs don't appreciate beauty pageant girls as much as other models but I think they are okay.
