Yeah, being called a liar would be frustrating, sometimes it's better to just ignore people that bring that much negativity, because when you respond to them it just gives them more ammo against you.

Babies are wonderful, and you will be the most important male role model in a girls life, or if you have a boy you're the MOST important role model so yes, it's scary.

Babies have a new baby smell, except usually only women seem to smell it... Don't forget all the work you're going to have to do, I mean you better start buying cribs and diapers and all that fun stuff! All that work totally pays off once they turn to you and smile at you, or they run over to hug you. Nobody can know what it's like until you've had a little 2 year old run into your arms screaming Daddy/Momma! It's something you can't get from anyone else. You're the most important person in the world right then.
