Hopefully I helped! Check out Newgon, solid evidence is useful otherwise a viewpoint has less weight without it.

As for your pervasive thoughts... well that might be likely because you kind of suppress them when in a good mood and when you think about them they all come to a head. Same thing used to happen to me. Do what feels right to you. I know you may not know what that is but try to figure it out.
