No matter who you are, everything you do ... repeat, everything... is done with the eventual goal of selfishness. Mother Teresa did what she did to get in good with what she perceived as her god. Selfish. She probably would not have done it if she had honestly thought that she would go to hell no matter what she did.

Same with Jesus of Nazareth. (If he was, in fact, god, then he was doing what he did for the pleasure of getting more people to worship him.) (If he was not, in fact, god, then he did what he did to appease his perceived god.)

Everything that everyone does, they do for a selfish reason. There is no exception theoretically possible.
