Once again, that 'mental gender' concept is nothing more than an idea the resulting behavior nonwithstanding, whether truthful or not (see false limb example). Also, social attitudes don't make inter generational relations harmful, this just like the self deceit that is a false mental gender is another false dichotomy where the actual harm is caused by the social standard or lie itself, and not by the relationship.

On the topic of oversimplification, the same can be just as easily said for the other side of the coin in that the overcomplication of the concept of gender is exactly what prevents people from fitting into one pigeonhole or the other.

PS: if this isn't as fluid as I hope it is let me know and I'll try and clarify my argument as I can barely keep my eyes open at this moment.
