a permanent solution to a temporary problem

You are stuck to the idea that the problems are ALWAYS temporary, you are fond of that mediocre aphorism. Often they are temporary; I remember that as a young man I tried to kill myself because I had fallen in love with a woman who did not return my love. I hardly remember her any longer, so that problem was surely temporary.

I could list a few problems that are not temporary. You have an incurable drug problem; you are doomed to spend the rest of your life without sex; you have an incurable, painful physical disease; you must be in prison for the rest of your life; and so on.

I am a little angry, but I express it in a civilized way.

And yes, I had to check two things with my English in this message. It also makes me angry. Two very simple expressions. Those things were "list" - suddenly I was not sure if you can use it this way in English - and "return my love". And then some people judge me by my English. I started to learn English only when I was 12, so the best time for learning was gone for good. When I was a kid, we did not even have a TV.

There. Swallow it and don't grimace. >8O/

I have a saying of my own, not any master aphorism, but a thought that is truthful enough: the real problems are problems that have no solution. (In English you have to repeat the word problem twice, which is not good.)
