You are of course quite right. Ahnasty IS good at fooling people into believing he is this super nice guy and it's US thats persecuting him. But like all psychopaths, he can't keep that illusion up forever and first time you question it, he goes all crazy and attacks you.

It is hard for people to accept what we are saying, because he "seems" so nice and caring, but a lot of people know me from Lifeline and I urge anyone that is currently in contact with Ahnasty/any other nick he is using, to break off contact and do NOT continue talking with this person, I care about every CL'er, whether I know them or not and I do not want to see anyone outed because of this lunatic, so please, just trust that the mods here and on the other boards KNOW what they are doing.

GC, lifeline and VoA (to name just a few) wouldn't go through so much effort to ban this person, dozens and dozens of times, on every nick he creates, if we didn't believe there was a damn good reason, because it takes a lot of effort to determine their new nicks and ban those as well.
