How do you remember that long ago?

I only have a couple memories at three years old. One time I remember playing Super Mario Brothers 3, Duck Hunt (with the gun controller), and Zelda on the NES, and another time playing Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis. I can't go back any further.

Strangely, all of the memories that I can recall are all about video games. I can't remember the rest. I can't even remember the time when I stole thousands of dollars from my dad's pocket at three years old. I would think that I would have remembered that. I do remember doing it again four years after that though.
