TV censorship. a thing of the past?

I was looking at my cable news, and I saw this report on the U.S. Supreme Court, ruling on the FCC, for TV. Justice Samuel Alito said, "Broadcast TV is living on borrowed time. It is not going to be long before it goes the way of vinyl records and 8-track tapes. So why not let this die a natural death?" Well, I wish the same could be said, for some primitive laws.

Chief Justice, John Roberts said, "All we are asking for.. (He corrects himself) ..What the Government is asking for, is a few channels, where you are not going to hear the S word, or the F word."

This is a lazy Supreme Court panel. This can be a good thing a little bit, or a very bad thing. I hope they just throw out the censorship all together. I think censorship has overstayed it's welcome. Isn't censorship supposed to be for safety? Well, some things that were censored, are not that dangerous. Yet, some things that are VERY dangerous, are ok to be viewed. Oh well, wishful thinking.

Cheers!!
