A few reasons for the awesomeness, recapping and extending what you said, Dissy:
1) They're astoundingly gorgeous
2) The storyline is already interesting even from the first episode
3) The editing is artistic and resourceful
4) The girls are learning stuff-
(Compare and contrast the steps these young ladies must take with the steps taken by a TV studio producing a program.)
The girls are gaining experience in a number of "real-world" concepts and techniques that are applicable to a variety of jobs in the entertainment industry. In other words, it's probably a FAR more educational experience than school is for them.
Looking forward to watching more!
