Phil Taylor writes, as a boys' junior varsity basketball coach, in "The Sandusky Effect", Sports Illustrated, January 9, 2012, page 80, "I don't drive kids home anymore. // I make sure I'm out of the locker room before my players begin changing into their uniforms. When they come out of the game and walk past me toward the bench, for a split second I even wonder whether its acceptable to give them a squeeze on the shoulder...."

Afraid to even give a "squeeze on the shoulder"! Coaches all across the country are fearful of "inappropriate" touch. Gym teachers leave their office doors open when with a young person, or they simply deny any access to their offices. As a youth I got some good advice from my gym teacher about personal sexual matters; I doubt that happens today.

And adolescents, not to mention pre-pubescent youth, are punished for their natural sexual interests and behaviors.
