I really, really, miss the 70's

This is a little off topic. I was young in the 70's. I still remember some days like yesterday. I love the movies like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Tin Drum, The Cheerleaders, Fantastic Planet, The Van, Bugsy Malone, Paper Moon,.. etc. I know I wrote about this earlier, but this is a little update, on the previous rambling of how I miss that decade. Anyways, I loved that decade and wished the new leaders and lawmakers weren't voted in. Unfortunately the people that made the mistake are either 100 years old without their sanity, or dead. This new generation grew up with the bad leaders and we are stuck with the crap that is growing rapidly today.

The 70's was awesome to me. My family had a party almost once a week. The word, "pedophilia" wasn't tossed around like a volleyball then. Art was a blast to look at..
The economy wasn't that bad, both my parents had good paying jobs. Things seemed limitless. I saw that young kids, flirted with adults, and adults flirted with kids, and not many people got upset. I told my parents, I liked quite a few attractive teachers, and my teachers were NEVER accused of being child molesters, or any other teacher for that matter. Childlove was viewed differently then. It was NEVER confused with rape and abuse, and just plain seriously injuring the children. We young children had to learn about adulthood somehow. But now we got to learn that on our own? We could almost safely be carefree. I thought life would look like the art, I saw for that era, would come true. I was hoping flying cars would be upon us soon. I wished the 70's evolved, but it didn't. It was destroyed, and the citizens of that era are an endangered species. I will tell my friends here I am one of those citizens of the 70's. I know I can't bring it back, (that takes billions of people to do that, but the world is too diverse now). I love the old public service announcement, when the young girls say stay in school or anything positive. I miss groovy, and far out, and radical!!

Why did the haters of the 70's were put in power? They ruined that decade by discontinuing it. I don't know about my friends here, that loved the 70's too. I always think about it. It's like I had the perfect 11 year old girlfriend, and a villain came and took her away and permanently took away my powers. I miss the off the wall, weird, psychedelic and surreal paintings that was abundant. I thought that was the perfect decade for many people, but not to a few. The few invaded that culture and is still trying to find the last of it's inhabitants and destroy them. Sorry guys, I really, really miss the 70's.

Long disappointed sigh..
