You know to be honest I got the audio book version. It was read with an incredible European accent. I never knew of this book. I guess as you pass through college you come across this stuff. Twelve year old Lolita and his now his recent stepfather. Throughout the whole novel Vladamir expressed only the feelings that we all should feel in any relationship.
