No good song lyrics in the world

This message was an answer to a BC message, and I post it here almost as such. I have changed only a couple of small things.

All Cleopatra's songs have tens of millions of viewers altogether. Was this so difficult to understand?

This song was uploaded only lately, and it seems to be quite hidden from common youtube searches - maybe it's on the seventh page or so, maybe on the tenth page, maybe on the fortieth page. I found it only because I was reading a Romanian article.

Besides, this is not mainstream music, far from it, and secondly, these songs are not English.*** British and American monolinguals favour songs with English lyrics.

(English is only my third language. I have also the fourth, fifth, sixth etc. language.)

One thing more: if we speak about the real child singers, those under ten, girls or boys, we must keep in mind that the viewer counter is often not indicative of the popularity of the song. Often the audience of the real child singers consists largely of child lovers, or pedophiles, and pedophiles are not as stupid as to go to Youtube tens or hundreds of times to listen the same song. No, they use something like Firefox and its add-ons NoScript and Video Download Helper to anonymously download the video on their disk, and then listen the song they have saved. I grew the counter only by one when I downloaded the song.

*** Why do many English speakers want to listen only songs with English lyrics? Because they want to understand the lyrics. This is stupid. I understand too many languages, so I favor languages that I don't understand well, and Romanian is such a language. Why would I want to understand the lyrics? Most lyrics are stupid or mediocre. There are great poems in the world, such as Omar Khayyam's poems and many others, but I do not know a single song in the world with really good lyrics.

Dylan? No, not really great poems. Sometimes the poem is written by a great poet and the music is composed by a great composer, but they are somehow incompatible and the outcome does not sound good.

And I happen to know something about writing and literature. No, I did not say that I am able to write such great song lyrics myself, I have never even tried, I'm not a songwriter.

So, why should I understand the lyrics? It is much better that I don't understand the words perfectly -- that way I can imagine that they are better than they really are. Maybe I should listen to Sanskrit songs only? I have a large Sanskrit dictionary, Monier-Williams, but I don't know the language. And by the way, I have collected the dictionaries of 80 different languages.

You may think that you know a song with good lyrics, but it may also be that your standards are much lower than mine.
