Dream Girl

Falling asleep in my recliner, with Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater in my lap, I dreamt of a girl. She had no particular age in my dream, suffice it to say she was a lovely lass in the fresh bloom of her youth. She was a shy, sensitive girl who, despite her stunning beauty, was insecure. I loved her; she knew that. But she was not sure how others felt about her.

One day we were sitting together skyping with some family when it was clearly stated that Roseanne, my girl, was accepted into our family and would be given an inheritance. She smiled softly and leaned into me. I put my left arm around her and whispered, "See. I told you they would like you and fall in love you, just as I have."

Roseanne was somehow an offspring of only two women: Danica McKellar ("Wonder Years") and Nina Dobrev ("Vampire Diaries"). This genetic inheritance made her all the more special to me.
