Physical Contact and Massage in Schools
Posted by redcocoa101 on 2012-January-21 17:16:52 EST, SaturdayI was just sad by the response of the one mom saying how she didn't want her kid doing it, even though it says in the article that if any kid feels uncomfortable they can stop. The kids that did speak said it was really calming and relaxing. Some people are just so anal.
"At least one school head teacher has realized that kids benefit from physical contact. More than that, she has had the courage to say so publicly.

But they haven't yet plucked up the courage to let the teachers massage the kids as they have in Scandinavia

But maybe it is a step in the right direction
