Artistic works (books, music, film, ) have played an important role in helping me to understand life, and myself, and perhaps the role I play in it.

Agreed. Movies and novels can open up new perspectives, and some of the most interesting conversations I've had have been sparked off by sharing an experience of watching a film.

If anyone can watch Sundays and Cybele without being moved heart and soul they must have a cold heart indeed... Yes, beautiful and as you say, very sad.
