The film apparently features a scene in which a priest molests a boy while forcing him to read the Bible, and Lee had this to say about the role: " Now, the man had a haaaaaard part. It’s very hard, very hard … to make a pedophile a human being."

Doesn't sound like this is the movie trying to break down stereotypes.
