I, too, rather despise labels - of any kind. They're a shortcut to understanding what is invariably a much more complex thing.

And I think you're right that protecting the rights of older-people-philes and pedophiles and gays and lesbians and trisexuals and whatever else you got has nothing to do with terms and rallies and lobbying and parades, but instead with dismantling the machines that stand to make money as a result of any form of repression, and with grassroots spreading of knowledge that can dispel the fear of the unknown.
