Liberation is about accepting and embracing diversity, NOT denying it exists for reasons of perceived expediency. I totally disagree with you that labels are always bad or undesirable, as opposed to good or bad depending upon what use they are put to. If you would have just said it this way in the first place, then you would not have been accused as being insulting, and it would have been perfectly fine.

Obviously, you are not reading me right here if you think this is what the use of identifying terms should entail according to those who support their use under certain circumstances. My main point is that you shouldn't have to apologize for them, because acceptance of diversity is liberation. Using the term "pedophile" to apply to yourself simply means you have a preference for children in a sexual and emotional sense, it doesn't mean you can be attracted to other things too. The term "hebephile" does apply to me based on my preferences, but I also like many other things too. The use of that appellation in no way limits me from liking things other than AGs, it simply makes a statement about what my preferences are along those particular lines, nothing more and nothing less.

The way you did it was an attack, and it's something you do constantly to too many people here, and I'm not one of the mods who is going to ignore it indefinitely. I have my bad days around here too, mind you, and I have genuinely owed people apologies (and have made them accordingly), but the negative side of your conduct around here goes on too often. As I noted above, you could have explained why you thought what I said was BS in an intelligent fashion, but you instead did it in a way that came off as simply a personal attack. I didn't give you a warning about it because I prefer not to do that if I am the person involved in the dispute so as to keep myself fully free from bias in making a decision, because I believed the mod who is currently on "watch" would take care of it instead. He didn't, which is why I am giving you a polite warning to watch your conduct with others in the future, because I will not ignore it.
