I'm going to save those post of yours, as I couldn't have made a more succinct and understandable assessment of why I am not totally against labels as you did here.

You acknowledged that labels are not meant to be ultimate descriptors, and also the main point I have been trying to convey about them: "It all depends on how a person uses them." That's it in a nutshell.
