"teleiophile" was not as easy to invent as some people would think. Why?

Because there is no word adult in classical Greek!

Men and women were far from equal then. There was a term for an adult man, but no term that would have meant adult in general - both adult men and adult women.

But there was a word teleio that means mature - mostly mature animals, but sometimes mature human beings too.
