Dressed like a Hollywood star of the 1940s, all in furs and feathers, she is the embodiment of glamor in Violettas eyes. The eccentric woman tries her hand at photography and asks her daughter to pose for her. The sexualized pictures evoke eroticism bordering on pedophilia. Meanwhile, Violetta, dressed like a prostitute and wearing heavy make-up, becomes a pariah at school.
