Many, including me, have often said that things will have to get worse before things get better. So if things are getting worse, it just means they are on the way to getting better. I think there are hopeful signs to note. I see people starting to question CP and SOR laws after kids get busted for sexting. I see people, even lawmakers and judges, questioning the length of sentences for CP convictions. I see people questioning SOR laws that fail to protect anyone, as in the recent case of Aliahna Lemmon.

So, yeah, the world we want may not be right around the corner, and in fact, you're probably right that we won't see it in our lifetimes. But there are signs that may be considered progress.

Also, you were 12 in 2003? I was 12 in, what, 1987?
