My opinion on incest.

I say it depends on the situation.

I think (obviously in a society that accepts and allows adult/child sexual relationships) that incest is okay if there is no interbreeding, there is no force or coercion, that there is no abuse or what would be considered abuse in a normal relationship.

Now, I have another criteria that I would not have for non-incestuous relationships. I mentioned this in a post to Markaba. The older person (father, uncle, brother, mother, aunt, etc.) CANNOT see the relationship and treat it as a romantic partnership. It is simply a relationship for fun and to bring about good feeling.

Do you guys get what I mean? Daddy (or step-daddy) should not be using the girl as a sex-substitute or as a full on partner. That is not how a parent/child relationship should be. However, showing her how to do sexual things and bringing her pleasure is not inherently harmful.

I know that, in regards to adult/child relationships, the ones that cause the most damage seem to be Father/Daughter ones. I have a feeling that if they separated forced/non-forced and serious/for fun then it would be shown that incest itself is not inherently harmful.

I don't know if I am exactly getting what I am saying out in an understandable way.

Essentially, if the "incest" is for fun or to teach and simply kept at that then (in a different society) it is not inherently harmful. However, if the adult is trying to use the child as a "partner" as if they were not related then yes that is not a good thing.
