Apart from implicit racism and classism in the system; young, pretty female defendants get off lightly. For anything. If I wanted to kill the President or pull another 9/11, I would use a young pretty white woman as shooter - and she would not get the death row.

And as a commenter quoted in another post said: the defense will easily try to make it seem like he was a danger to her and she finally reacted after t time of abuse under the courage induced by alcohol.

And I agree with you. ANY kp defendant, and at least a good number of contact defendants, are less dangerous than she is...
