I have never seen that term used anywhere but here, and I remember seeing a recent article in the mainstream online media stating that a special term may be necessary for adults with a preferential attraction to very young children (i.e., infants and toddlers) since "pedophile" didn't cut it, and he suggested "infantophile," which was hardly scientific, but strongly implied that he didn't recognize "nepiophile" in all his studies on the subject. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised if the latter was the case, but I was under the impression that "nepiophile" was coined within this community.
