As has always been the case in history, I think that depends on the purpose the label is being used for.

It's one thing to take control of labels that already exist, but quite another to create new labels to saddle younger people with.

There has never been an existing term for this attraction base, and all terms were new and non-existent at one time. I believe it can potentially serve an important unifying and utility purpose that outweighs the bad in the long run. Thank you for listening despite your disagreement.
