Well, its up to the Scots, anyway. It is just my opinion that it'll be a bad move. Many Scots seem to believe that the oil revenues will bring them a life of ease. It won't. The revenues will be spent on benefits for the increasing numbers of those unable to work and those who won't work.

What will happen to the Scottish regiments who are the pride of the British Army? Disbanded? Decimated and relegated to border and customs control? More likely move South and join British regiments along with the Welsh and Irish. Or will there be a Scottish Army? A Scottish Air force and a Scottish Navy? Can't see that happening.

I think the whole thing is a bad idea. Apart from one thing. It could be good to have an English parliament from which others are excluded.

I, and many others, will be sorry to see them go, but we'll get on okay without them.
