Love is scary, and hard, and something I don't know if anyone is ever really prepared for.

I've had a few adult relationships that have all been utter disasters - my attraction to them is so non-existent it becomes readily apparent after a bit of dating, no matter how I try to hide it.

Now that I have a LG in my life who "loves" me (only 1 has professed love, the other 2 are content to be friends, I think they may have an agreement...!), everything is different. I'm sadly going to have to leave her soon - but this period in my life is incredible, and one to remember.

We all have on and off periods, red. You are in an off - an "on" is coming, I am certain of it. I went many long years, but it all paid off within weeks.
