When I was 27 I was engaged to a 16 year old. She was the love of my life and the only girl I truly loved. I've been infatuated with varies girls but that's different.

Like you it didn't work for me. I was devastated and spiraled into a drunken stupor which lasted about 3 years. I know how you feel because I've been there. Over time it will get better. But it's a slow road with a few pot holes.

To this day I still have a place for her in my heart but it no longer hurts.
