I see what he did as abusive - but not as particularly abusive, compared to all kinds of abuse that goes on at school (as this happened in school) - or elsewhere.

This is why it strikes me as an unusually and unnecessarily harsh punishment that they are going after.

And, again, I don't see it as sexual. I guess it's an eye of the beholder thing, but seriously: if cockroaches are sexual then cockroach-invasion films are pornography; and if semen (without the act of ejaculation present) is sexual, then sperm banks should be regulated under obscenity statutes.

As for male genital mutilation, blame the UN-crats. They say you don't get AIDS if you're mutilated.
