GC isn't all GLers and BC isn't all BLers.

BoyChat is more of a free-for-all. They're open to unregistered posting and the "Die Pedo Scum" kind of anon drive-bys that come with that.

This means that those sensitive souls who can't stand to read hate on a regular basis won't be there. It also means that those who don't mind firing back at the Antis on an hourly basis will be there.

We can expect that this will also lead to a greater degree of hostility between posters since it sure isn't being regulated from outsiders ( except when it veers into YCDTOBC territory. )

These are just different cultures.

Their unwillingness to eradicate trolls is something of a source of hostility, because they've ended up with a few "GL" trolls who care more about trolling Peds than orientation; but who started out registering here. Of course this is their own choice, and by now these trolls should be perceived as BC's trolls; even if they're only there to troll about LGs.

But Board rules mean that those GLers who find GC stifling aren't represented, and those BLers who find BC too rude also aren't represented.

You can't judge the orientation by only Board posters.
