It is true that projecting from our boards, either and both, and any other one apart from GC and BC, into the universe of GLers and BLers is statistically unsound to say the least. However, the boards are also self-selected. Nothing was preordained that BC would be Sparta and GC would be Versailles. Its own memberships made a Sparta out of BC and a Versailles out of GC. So I personally think that attributing the character to the rules still begs the question, as the rules are not exogenous but are, essentially, crowdsourced from the whole Volk of each board. Sure, some decisions and reforms are made at Committee level; but Committee are not blooded aristocrats but selected from that same Volk. So I remain skeptical that it's random. It might be hard, nearly impossible, to trace, particularly if we're not all out, but I think it's sure that there are character differences between BLue and Pink populations and that they get reflected in how they make their boards.

I agree. My experience was that even some of there mods were a little . . . well, less than hospitable, let's say. They are very different from us, for the most part, and not in a good way. I have absolutely no problem with boy love as an orientation, nor with certain BLers, but most of them are just unpleasant people. Case closed.
