I only saw parts of the movie but it became very clear she got raped, not exactly the definition of "exploring her sexuality"in my book.

About making the film for us: read Dante's reply again.
This conclusion only exists in your own imagination.
Dakota is an outstanding actress, but keep in mind she was not the creator of this movie. It's just her profession.

I understand this sounds a bit harsh but i really think you need to get both feet on the ground again.
