First I try to set my search keywords to aim for what I want; "girl paintings," not "girls painting." That can take a few tries. Also most of the time I'm looking for 19th century art or earlier. And then something about her needs to speak to me. She needs to be someone I'd like to spend time with. So it can take a while.

Yes, all of them took long to find. The choosing is quick. Its the finding which takes a while. ( As well as the resizing for sigpic. )

"Have you ever come across mine and do you know it's artist?"

No, I'm not familiar with it.
